Public Trust: Revoluton to Host International Installation in Luton.
Is your word your bond?
When you make a declaration how dedicated are you to seeing it through?
Relax, don’t tense up just yet. Everyone knows the hardest part about making a promise is keeping it. The good news is that if our intentions are genuine, we can keep trying till we get it right.
The promises we make often show where we are at each point of our lives. If you were to make a promise right this second, chances are that it will be about something or someone that is currently happening or existing in your life. In some small way, it can be used to measure where you are with yourself.
Public Trust, an installation by American artist, Paul Ramírez Jonas, gives each of us the opportunity to make our own promises. Paul’s work ranges from large-scale public installations to high-quality performances of dance and drawing, has pushed past the borders of America and has made its way to the UK.
In collaboration with Fierce Productions, we will be bringing Public Trust to Luton in September!
We believe that Luton is a town of promise. Young or old, we all carry the best interest of the town in our hearts. Our recent Undercurrent project took us back in time exploring the River Lea and the banks of its futures past. Public Trust is set on looking towards the future.
With Public Trust, you will be invited to make pledges not just to Luton but to yourselves. The installation will be a bold Lutonian love letter – #MyDearFutureLuton
September is around the corner. Keep an eye out for more details on Public Trust coming to Luton here on our website, Revoluton socials and other media channels.
Public Trust is a Fierce production by Paul Ramírez Jonas presented by Revoluton Arts in partnership with Global Streets and Luton BID, supported by Arts Council England.
