Bold Voices, Big Visions: Meet the 2025 Young Revolutonaries Shaping Luton’s Future.

Revoluton Arts is proud to introduce the latest cohort of Young Revolutonaries. These four bold and boundary-pushing young creatives will lead extraordinary new projects in Luton this year.

Spanning music, illustration, virtual art and visual storytelling, the 2025 Young Revolutonaries bring unique perspectives to the local creative landscape. Each project will spark conversation, invite collaboration and explore identity, heritage and community in fresh, fearless ways.

From cookbooks to clashes, graphic novels to graphite, this year’s line-up is not to be missed.

Srea Repospolo — Drawing Luton Together

Artform: Illustration/Design

Srea’s project Drawing Luton Together is a celebration of diversity through food, storytelling and shared heritage. A vibrant community cookbook (Home Sweet Home) lies at the heart of this project—blending recipe sharing, accessible storytelling, youth workshops and an interactive food crawl through Luton. By exploring the meaning of “home” through a multicultural lens, Srea aims to empower young people to embrace their identities, connect with others and imagine a more inclusive urban future.

A Filipino illustrator raised in the UK diaspora, Srea creates dreamy and magical artworks inspired by everyday culture and nature. Featured in Circus of Illustration’s group exhibition, her collaborations with Filifest and WOM Collective reflect her commitment to cultural celebration through art.

Ryan Prazer — Whatever They’ll Hate You For Be Proud

Artform: Musician/Filmmaker

This powerful music video project invites Lutonians to wear their “flaws” as badges of honour. In Whatever They’ll Hate You For Be Proud, Ryan Prazer directs and stars as alter-ego Spike Vicious, who guides the story of two clashing sides locked in conflict—until unity prevails. The video will be shot entirely in Luton and will feature local talent, each creating and proudly wearing a symbol of what they’ve been judged or marginalised for.

Ryan is a DIY punk-reggae artist and filmmaker known for his raw honesty and undeniable stage charm. Born in Luton and raised in chaos, Ryan brings people together through fearless creativity—and plenty of energy.

Joshua Otuonye — Sammen

Artform: Virtual Art (Charcoal and Graphite Drawing)

“Sammen”—meaning “together” in Norwegian—is a collection of bold, pencil-crafted artworks exploring football, history and culture through a modern diasporic lens. With a style rooted in detail and emotional connection, Joshua’s pieces are designed to spark curiosity and conversation across communities.

Joshua Iroabum Otuonye is a UK-based African virtual artist pushing the boundaries of traditional drawing. His art speaks volumes in graphite and charcoal, aiming to challenge norms and inspire audiences with a fresh, globally-minded vision.

Alaudin Jami — Young Moses

Artform: Digital/Visual Arts

In this emotionally intense graphic novel, Young Moses follows the journey of a troubled youth pulled into a life of crime. Set against a gritty urban backdrop, the story dives deep into the consequences of early choices, fractured family ties, and the search for identity and redemption.

Ghulam Alaudin Jami’s storytelling is unflinching and deeply personal, drawing from lived experiences and sharp social observation. With striking visual style and powerful narratives, his work gives voice to young people navigating complex realities.
