Classical concert — Indian violin and veena

Take a moment for reflection and remembrance every Friday afternoon to hear the soaraway sounds of virtuoso musicians from Luton-based Sinfonia Verdi.
This week, join acclaimed Indian classical violinist Balu Raguraman and one of the leading veena artists in the UK, Subathra Raguraman.
Balu Raguraman is an accomplished Indian classical violinist who has established himself in this country over the last two decades as a leading teacher and performer.
He has won many accolades through his performances, both a soloist and accompanist. He performs and records with many of the leading performers of Indian classical music worldwide.
Subathra Raguraman is one of the leading veena artists in the UK. Having learnt from eminent gurus in India she was a Professor of Music at The Music Academy in Chennai — an important milestone in any Indian classical music career. Subathra has performed widely all over India and in the UK and plays a key role in the UK’s musical life as a front-ranking veena player and a teacher of Indian music.

Playwriting Course for young people

With award-winning writer James McDermott — for ages 16 to 30
This interactive session is for you if you’re interested in writing your own play whilst in self-isolation — learn how to create dramatic stories and engaging characters.
In this session, participants will learn tools and techniques to help them write dialogue.
