Info

Join us for the first reading of our co-production with Tangled Feet, Rave New World, a new play that will take you back to the heart of Luton’s rave scene in the 1980s-1990s.

Whether you were part of the scene, heard about the parties, or are discovering Luton’s rave heritage for the first time, you’re invited to listen in to the world of the Exodus Collective as it is brought to life for the first time in a read-through by a cast of actors.

Sign up to experience Rave New World before the crowds and have your voice heard about the way you’d like to see the play developed, feed into the design process and also listen to the first edits of the original music score, before the premiere in March 2025.

What is a rehearsed reading?

A rehearsed reading involves actors reading a script in front of an audience without costume and limited staging, music, and lighting. It is like being invited into a rehearsal room.

Do I have to provide feedback?

You do not need to provide any feedback on the play if you do not wish to. However, you will be invited to share your thoughts to support the development of the play moving forwards.

Will refreshments be provided?

Soft drinks and light refreshments will be available.

When will Rave New World be performed?

Rave New World is scheduled to be performed in March 2025.
