Info

Rave New World is a spectacular new outdoor show told through lyrics, music, aerial theatre and moving cars.

It’s a celebration, provocation and call-to-action.

Inspired by the history of Luton’s infamous Exodus Collective and delving into Luton’s rebellious rave music heritage, it tells an incredible story that leaves its audience in a place to party.

Rave New World is a Revoluton Arts and Tangled Feet co-production in collaboration with Pirates of the Carabina. It was created to motivate, inspire and ask the question: What can the revolutionary spirit of the 90s DIY free party movement offer us as we face the challenges of 2025?

Whether you were a part of the scene, heard about the legendary parties, or are discovering Luton’s rave heritage for the first time, Rave New World’s themes resonate deeply today.

Join us outside Marsh Farm Community Centre on Friday 21 and Saturday 22 March 2025. Tickets are ‘Pay What You Like’ and includes entrance to the after-party with music/DJs at Marsh House till midnight.

What happens after the performance? What time does the event end?

After the performance there will be music, DJs and an open bar until late. Stay and party with us!

What should I wear for an outdoor arts show in March?

March weather can be unpredictable, so we recommend dressing in layers. Bring a warm jacket and, if it is really cold, gloves, and a hat. Consider wearing waterproof footwear if the ground is wet.

Is the venue accessible/can I sit down?

Yes, the venue is wheelchair accessible, including pathways and viewing area. If you have any specific accessibility needs, please don’t hesitate to contact us before the event, and we’ll ensure you have a comfortable experience. The event is a standing event with no chairs available outside of the access viewing area.

Will the show go on if it rains?

The show is made for the outdoors so we can perform in various weather conditions, but we will monitor the forecast closely. If there is heavy rain or extreme weather, we may need to reschedule or postpone the event. Please check our website or social media for weather-related updates closer to the event.

Are there restrooms available at the venue?

The show is next to Marsh House Community Centre and you can use the restrooms inside the building.

Will there be food and drinks available?

You will be able to purchase a drink on site. Nibbles water and dates will be available at sunset if you are joining us for Iftar before the show. Food will not be sold at the event.

Can I bring my pet to the show?

While we love animals, we recommend leaving pets at home to ensure everyone’s comfort. The event has pyrotechnics and loud bangs and might not be comfortable for animals.

However, if you need to bring a service animal, please let us know in advance, and we’ll make the necessary accommodations.

How long will the performance last?

The show will run for approximately 50 minutes.

Will there be parking at the venue?

There is limited parking available near the venue and it may fill up quickly, so we encourage you walk or use public transportation if possible.
