Info

Do you feel the effects of the days getting darker? Have the seasonal blues got you down? Do you want to create but can’t get over that ‘hump’?

If the answer to any of these questions is yes, then join us for the festive edition of our Mic Drop Masterclass in December! Don’t Be S.A.D – Be Creative is the space for you to get picking up those creative tools again, even when it’s grey outside!

You can expect:

  • To gain tips and tricks that can keep you creative and positive during the winter season
  • To find out about free resources at your fingertips that could push you into your next creative chapter
  • To meet fellow creative minds in Luton, and build your community

Dropping the mic this session is Ryan Prazer. Ryan Prazer is the founder of the ‘Don’t Be S.A.D’ movement in Luton. He will be delivering this workshop to you with his unique DIY approach to making arts of all disciplines! Having over 15 years of experience in the arts, Ryan is ready to take your music, podcast, video, illustration, comedy, theatre and art to the next level, all the while teaching you skills that can help to beat the winter blues!

Ryan just successfully completed his event ‘Don’t Be S.A.D – An Event To Beat The Winter Blues’ in November and aims to keep people in positive spirits throughout the holiday period and beyond.

I don’t want a creative career, is this still for me?

Yes – this Mic Drop Masterclass is designed for Lutonians who are looking for a space to relax, have fun and enjoy exploring their creativity.

The session topic is completely new to me, is this still for me?

Yes – Guest facilitators will be able to tailor the session to your existing level of knowledge whether you are discovering it for the first time or looking to build on your existing knowledge with new tips and tricks.

Will the session be relevant to the artform I practice?

Yes – the key to any successful artistic project is collaboration so guest facilitators will tailor their session to ensure it is relevant to every artform.
